Wed on Benetton Live Windows and Media-Walls

Live Windows celebrates WED this 5 June 2013 with multimedia displays on the campaign theme in Benetton flagship store windows and media walls worldwide.

The Live Windows Project, conceived to create a new language between people and retail space, is an initiative by Fabrica, Benetton’s communication research center and talent incubator. Through its network of prominent educational and cultural institutions, Live Windows promotes young talented designers and gives them a venue to showcase their creations.

For this year’s WED celebrations, the Live Windows network produced four films to spread the word about the absurdity of food waste and loss Two of them have been created byECV Atlantique and highlight the importance of preserving and protecting the natural  aspects of the world while the other two have been produced by Fabrica and focus on this year’s WED theme: Think.Eat.Save. Reduce Your Foodprint.

The “pieces of food” video by Gastón Lisak is being shown for the whole month of June on giant screens in Piccadilly Circus, London, and Times Square, New York. All of them have been endorsed by UNRIC and by UNEP, and are being shown on the LW in Milan, London, Munich, Barcelona and, for the first time, Almaty (Kazakhstan).
